Wire EDM Services for Land and Water Based Turbines
The wire EDM services at XACT Wire EDM are suitable for everything from prototype parts to large scale production scale capacity. Full-time 24/7 production is possible due to automatic needle threading on modern wire EDM machines as well as three shifts at our wire EDM shops.

Wire EDM Turbine Applications
Wire EDM can repeatedly produce extremely accurate part geometries without the need for fixed tooling or custom cutters (i.e broaching). There is no cutter wear with wire EDM. A fresh wire is constantly being supplied. This allows for the machining of critical fits between components. WEDM can also be used to simply split rings/wheels with minimal kerf.
Small hole EDM can drill burr-free holes through hardened materials. The angle of entry or geometry of the surface has no detrimental impact. We also offer laser marking services for parts and products.
